1703 Stress Technical Engineer Adv

We are currently seeking an experienced Stress Technical Engineer Adv to join our dynamic team. In this advanced role, you will leverage your expertise to conduct in-depth stress analysis on aircraft cabin interior components, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and high-performance criteria. You will be responsible for leading projects and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive engineering solutions.

General Activities:

Stress Analysis:

•Lead stress analysis activities on aircraft cabin interior components employing advanced FEA tools such as NASTRAN, ANSYS, and ABAQUS.

•Develop and validate complex FEA models to accurately simulate structural behavior under loads including static, dynamic, and fatigue.

•Interpret and analyze FEA results to provide insightful recommendations on design optimizations and risk mitigation strategies.

•Generate detailed technical reports and documentation to support design validation, certification, and project deliverables.

Project Leadership:

•Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and other engineering teams to align stress analysis methodologies with overall project objectives.

•Act as a mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

•Drive innovative engineering solutions that meet or exceed performance and safety expectations.

Regulatory Compliance:

•Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards, including FAA FAR Part 25 and EASA CS-25, during all phases of the engineering process.

•Prepare and review comprehensive stress reports and certification documentation for submission to regulatory bodies.

•Continuously monitor and adapt to changes in industry standards and regulations, ensuring best practices in stress analysis are implemented effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (automotive background won't be considered)
  • Experience: 5-8 years in performing stress analysis on aircraft cabin interior components.
  • Proficient in FEA tools such as NASTRAN, ANSYS, and ABAQUS.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FAA FAR Part 25 and EASA CS-25.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to project challenges.
  • Experience in leading engineering projects and mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
