Accounting and Systems Support Administrator (Remote)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Software Implementation and Project Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will support both software implementations and project administration tasks, including project setup, onboarding, and internal bookkeeping duties like coding transactions in Xero and preparing GST returns. You'll also assist with other administrative tasks as required. Comprehensive training will be provided, so while experience is welcome, it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Implementation: Assist with implementing Projectworks, WorkGuru, Unleashed, and Xero solutions for clients.
  • Project Administration: Manage project setup, onboarding clients, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Internal Bookkeeping: Assist with coding transactions in Xero, preparing GST returns, and managing financial records.
  • Data Analysis: Use Excel to manipulate and analyse data relevant to software implementation and project management.
  • Support: Help troubleshoot issues during the implementation phase and provide ongoing client support.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the software specialist and team to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • General Admin: Take on additional administrative tasks as required to support the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accounting Awareness: Basic knowledge of accounting principles (e.g. GST and transaction coding).
  • Administrative Skills: Strong organisational skills to manage project setup, client onboarding, and admin duties.
  • Excel Proficiency: Comfort with using Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Technological Aptitude: Eagerness to learn new software tools and technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication to liaise with clients and team members.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Projectworks, WorkGuru, Unleashed, and Xero is an advantage but not required.
  • Prior experience in software implementation or administration is beneficial, but training will be provided.
