Amazon VA Role - Inventory Management, Forecasting, & Product Sourcing

ABOUT US

We are a rapidly expanding eCommerce company specializing in selling supplements on Amazon. As we grow our product offerings and explore new sales channels like TikTok Shop and Facebook ads, we are looking for an experienced Amazon Virtual Assistant (VA) with a strong background in inventory management, product sourcing, and forecasting using tools like SoStocked.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are on the lookout for an Amazon VA with extensive experience in inventory management, product sourcing, and forecasting—especially someone who knows their way around SoStocked for inventory forecasting. This is a critical role focused on ensuring our inventory levels are always optimized, in sync with demand, and aligned with our sales targets. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to managing inventory, preventing stockouts or overstock, and tracking expiration dates for our supplement products.

If you have experience in the supplement industry or working with gated products, that's a plus, but not required. What is essential is your hands-on experience in managing and forecasting inventory, sourcing products, and using SoStocked or similar inventory tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Sourcing: Effectively source and restock products to meet demand, ensuring that supply always matches our forecasting models
Inventory Forecasting & Management: Proactively monitor and manage inventory levels, with strong use of SoStocked or similar platforms. Stay on top of sales trends, seasonality, and marketing campaigns to ensure stock levels are optimized.
Expiration Management: Keep track of product expiration dates and collaborate with the marketing team to prioritize sales for items nearing expiration.
Sales Channel Impact: Anticipate and manage the effects of new sales channels (like TikTok Shop and Facebook Ads) on inventory needs. Adapt forecasting based on shifting demand.
Proactive Reordering: Ensure timely reordering of inventory by tracking low stock levels and setting reorder points with suppliers to prevent both stockouts and overstock.
Inventory Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on inventory levels, potential stock issues, and forecasted needs.
SoStocked Platform Management: Utilize SoStocked for accurate inventory forecasting and management. Experience with SoStocked is a plus—if you're not experienced, you must be able to quickly learn and master it.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing, ads, and operations teams to align inventory levels with sales strategies and ensure smooth, synchronized operations.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in inventory management and product sourcing, particularly for Amazon FBA Private label.
Proficiency in inventory forecasting tools, with specific experience using SoStocked.
A solid understanding of sales trends, seasonality, and how to integrate those into inventory strategies.
Experience with supplements or gated products is a plus but not required.
Strong organizational and communication skills to manage cross-functional coordination.
Ability to work in the Pacific (PST) time zone as we are based in Vancouver, Canada
Self-motivated and able to take proactive measures to manage inventory levels efficiently.
