Chief of Staff

This is a remote, permanent and full-time position as per US Central timezone.

Umbrella Fund is seeking an innovative and strategic Chief of Staff to join our executive team. In this vital role, you will partner closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to shape company strategy and drive impactful organizational initiatives.

The Chief of Staff will take on responsibilities that include managing high-priority projects, fostering effective communication between units, and aligning the team's efforts with Umbrella Fund's overarching goals. Your leadership will help streamline operations and enhance both productivity and collaboration.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses outstanding analytical skills, and has a talent for building relationships across different levels and teams. You will be instrumental in supporting decision-making processes and ensuring the alignment of key initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and execute strategic initiatives
  • Oversee and manage special projects from conception through completion, ensuring they align with company objectives
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments to promote a culture of transparency and cooperation
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and operational improvements
  • Translate executive priorities into actionable goals and coordinate their implementation across teams
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between executives and staff to reinforce company culture and values
  • Monitor and evaluate team engagement and morale within a remote work setup

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage
  • Significant experience in a leadership role, with a preference for experience as a Chief of Staff or in a similar capacity
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects and prioritizing effectively
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on utilizing data to support operational decisions
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Familiarity with project management tools and collaborative technologies is a plus
