Position: Client Service Technician
Location: Remote
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM ET
Employment Type: Full-Time (Direct to Client)

About the Role:

PCS is seeking a highly skilled Client Service Technician with a deep understanding of MacOS systems and hands-on experience with JAMF. This position requires expertise in MacOS deployment, troubleshooting, updating, and industry best practices, ensuring seamless device management and support for our clients. You will be working with a dynamic team to maintain and optimize our clients' Mac environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MacOS Deployment and Management: Deploy, configure, and manage MacOS devices, ensuring systems are up-to-date and running optimally for our clients.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide first and second-level support to end users for MacOS-related issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
  • JAMF Administration: Utilize JAMF Pro to manage Apple devices at scale, including configuration profiles, patch management, software deployment, and security protocols.
  • Best Practices: Implement and maintain industry best practices for MacOS system security, deployment, and management.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and departments to ensure smooth operation across all systems and clients.
  • Client Communication: Interact with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with MacOS deployment, updating, troubleshooting, and management.
  • Strong working knowledge of JAMF (specifically JAMF Pro) in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with Apple best practices for device management and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex MacOS issues.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a managed IT services environment.
  • Certifications related to Apple or JAMF technologies (e.g., JAMF 200 or higher, Apple Certified Support Professional).
  • Experience with other device management tools or enterprise IT environments.

Salary: $1200 - $1500
