Clinical Genetics Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Genetics Physician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive genetic assessments and counseling for patients and families with hereditary conditions. Your expertise will play a critical role in diagnosing genetic disorders, interpreting genetic testing results, and developing personalized care plans for patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with suspected genetic disorders or a family history of genetic conditions
• Interpret genetic tests and lab results, providing clear explanations to patients and their families
• Develop individualized management and treatment plans based on genetic findings and overall health
• Provide genetic counseling to patients and families, discussing risks, implications, and options for managing genetic disorders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate healthcare providers on the principles of clinical genetics and the importance of genetic testing
• Participate in research initiatives and stay updated with advancements in the field of genetics
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation

Requirements

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Board certification in Clinical Genetics
• Valid and active medical license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Genetics Physician
• Proficient in the interpretation of genetic tests and counseling principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with and educate patients
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex clinical information
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
