About the role
As a Sales planner, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and optimising digital campaigns to help businesses achieve their goals in the online space. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, data analysis, and staying updated on digital marketing trends. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to develop a career in the digital industry to join the Sales planning team. The successful candidate will work with the team in managing ad campaigns across our portfolio of websites including Top Gear, Good Food, Delicious, Radio Times, Made for Mums, Gardeners World and Olive.
As a Digital Sales Planner, you will;
- Lead end-to-end management of digital ad campaigns - adding lines on Connect, liaising with clients for creatives, to ensure campaign’s delivery, to optimise for better performance and reporting.
- Understanding Audience and Contextual targeting and using them efficiently.
- Understanding the top performing formats for each device and website and suggesting it to the sales team.
- Helping sales with inventory availability.
- Collaborate with ad ops and social teams for campaign setup.
- Coordinate with creative teams for podcast scripting, recording, and digital display creation.
- Analyse campaign data and optimise strategies.
- Interact with clients, agency, and project managers for enhanced campaign results.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and End of Campaign reports.
Requirements
- Knowledge about digital marketing is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strategic decision making
- Knowledge about audience targeting and Contextual targeting.
- Analysing data using Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager.
- Web-based applications proficiency
- Focused under pressure.
