Summary
We are looking for an "Electrical Engineer / Systems Engineer Fighter Radar (f/m/d)" for the "Fighter Radar Engineering" division at the Ulm site.The division is responsible for the systems engineering support of existing airborne radar systems for flying platforms such as the Eurofighter Typhoon, Panavia Tornado, NFH Sea Lion or Airbus A400M. Furthermore, the division carries out systems engineering for the planning and conception of future airborne radar systems, provides technical support for the acquisition of new development projects and manages their technical implementation. The tasks of the Systems Department are characterised by interdisciplinary approaches, close contact with national and international customers and users as well as scientific research institutions and cooperation partners.
Your Tasks
Recording of customer requirements and their translation into system requirements
Creation of system concepts and derivation of the corresponding system designs with focus on functional and control aspects
Estimation and simulation of system performance parameters
Creation of system documentation and definition of subsystem components
Planning and execution of development and sub-projects or studies
Support of subsystem and system integration
Support of test programs on platform level
Support of system acceptance on target systems
Preparation of offers and support in acquisition tasks
Close cooperation with national and international partners and customers
Your Profile
Completed studies in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics or comparable
Experience in requirements engineering and systems engineering
Experience with technical simulation tools such as Matlab or comparable
Knowledge of radar system design, signal processing, algorithms
Confident handling of MS-Office software products
Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary manner
Independent, goal-oriented and structured way of working
Distinct ability to work in a team and customer orientation
High level of commitment and willingness to perform
Business fluent German and good English skills
