Housekeeper / Nanny in Geneva - LIVE-IN - September 2024

A family in Geneva is seeking an experienced and caring Nanny & Housekeeper to support their household. This role primarily focuses on housekeeping, with additional responsibilities with childcare for the children, aged 7, 3, and 2. The family values a candidate who is calm, gentle, and attentive, with the flexibility to travel with them as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping Duties:
• Comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of a 400m² home, including 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
• Maintaining organization and tidiness throughout the house.
• Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate fabrics.
• Managing household supplies and grocery shopping.
• Childcare Duties:
• Preparing and serving evening meals for the children.
• Assisting with childcare when necessary.
• Providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Traveling with the family as required.
• Assisting with packing and organization for family trips.
• Occasional babysitting.

Requirements

• EU passport or valid Swiss Work Permit.

• Proven experience in both housekeeping and childcare.
• Checkable references.
• Fluency in English.
• A calm, gentle, and caring demeanor, especially with young children.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A valid driver’s license is an advantage.
• Flexibility to travel with the family.

Benefits

• Salary : CHF 25-26 gross per hour.
• Accommodation : a private room and bathroom in the family's residence (CHF 990.- will be deducted from the gross salary for accommodation and food)
