Informatica Developer

Objectives of this Role:

• Develop, test, and deploy data integration solutions using Informatica technologies, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to design data models and ETL processes that optimize data flows.
• Maintain data integrity and quality through rigorous testing and validation of ETL processes.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing Informatica applications, helping to adapt to evolving client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage mappings, workflows, and sessions in Informatica PowerCenter and other relevant tools.
• Perform troubleshooting and performance tuning of ETL processes to achieve optimal operational output.
• Document ETL processes and update existing documentation for future reference.
• Participate in requirements gatherings and provide technical insights about data integration projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in strategic data initiatives.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Informatica Developer, specializing in ETL solutions and data integration.
• Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter, with solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with SQL and database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
• Experience with cloud data platforms is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
