Music Technology Consultant (Projects & Certification)
Location: Sawston, Cambridge (full time, office-based)
Salary: £40k base, with £65k OTE, uncapped.

We ‘re looking for an experienced technical pro audio professional to join our team, working hand-in-glove with the CEO and our Business Development Representatives in Nigeria and Kenya. You’ll be aiming to exceed the expectations of our prestigious family of pro audio brands as well as spearhead our latest installed projects initiative. You’ll also oversee our full training and certification of Q-Sys system integrators and other platforms (comprehensive training will be provided).
This is both a technical and commercial, hands-on role with significant opportunities for development and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Refine and execute a pro audio projects business strategy to maximise long term profitability.
- Identify, recruit, measure, and co-ordinate the development of best-in-territory integrators.
- Maintenance, development, and communication of our growing projects pipeline.
- Management of all technical enquiries from our international reseller/integration partners.
- Deliver certified training of all the latest tech, including a variety of DSP-based platforms.
- Design small boardroom solutions and mid-sized fixed installation projects.
- Contributing to overall design observations and providing onsite support for larger projects.
Experience, attributes, and skills
Your attitude, rapport and managerial skills are key for this role. The non-negotiables are:
- At least five years pro audio industry experience
- Experience in understanding and working on professional audio installed audio projects (including corporate AV, small restaurants / bars, and mid-size / large houses of worship.)
- Broad knowledge of audio products, including networked DSP, amplifiers, and loudspeakers
- Happy to travel occasionally to Africa and Eastern Europe.
- Gritty and relentless, yet considered and calm.
- Driven self-starter, capable of working in isolation and setting/exceeding ambitious targets.
