Summary

We are looking for a "Physicist / System Engineer for Air Traffic Control Radar (f/m/d)" for the "Air Traffic Control Radar" department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The "Air Traffic Control Radar" department is responsible for the development of air traffic control radars for civil and military use as well as their analysis and optimization in line with customer requirements.

We are open to applicants with diverse backgrounds and experience, including career changers, who have a passion for technology and innovation and are willing to apply their skills and knowledge in a challenging aviation industry environment.

Your Tasks

  • Coordination of needs and requirements with the customer

  • Derivation, creation and maintenance of radar system requirements

  • Defining and maintaining the radar system architecture with the involvement of experts and specialist laboratories

  • Coordinating and defining the concept for the verification process

  • Support in the creation and evaluation of verification cases

Willingness for occasional national and international business trips is required.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or technical field (engineering, physics, mathematics) or comparable

  • Ideally several years of experience in the field of radar system engineering

  • Experience in the development of systems, hardware or software

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Structured, conscientious and analytical way of working

  • High degree of initiative and commitment

  • Good German and English skills
