Your contribution:
We are seeking an experienced Pricing Specialist to support our pricing team in developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profitability for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and the ability to manage and analyze large data sets to inform pricing decisions. The Pricing Specialist will report to the Pricing Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and finance to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
The role will be based in our EMEA HQ Office in Hannover, Germany.
Key Responsibilities: What you will do
- Manage and maintain pricing databases to ensure accuracy and completeness of pricing data.
- Conduct market research and analyze pricing trends to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
- Analyze customer behavior and purchase patterns to optimize pricing for different segments and customer groups.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing tactics for new products and promotions.
- Monitor competitor pricing and adjust pricing strategies accordingly to maintain competitive advantage.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to facilitate pricing decisions and communicate pricing strategy to internal stakeholders.
- Work with finance teams to forecast revenue and analyze pricing impact on financial results.
- Assist in developing pricing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support pricing team in ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: What a successful candidate should have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Solid years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and analyze large data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with pricing software and tools.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to pricing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English.
