Summary
For the Area "Spexer & Passive Radar Engineering" we are looking for a "Radar System Engineer (w/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.In the "Spexer & Passive Radar Engineering" Area, the passive radar product Twinvis and the radar product family SPEXER® 2000 are developed, tested and integrated and approved at the customer's premises. The passive radar product Twinvis and the radar product family SPEXER® 2000 are technologically leading products that are constantly being further developed and are in demand and use worldwide with their innovative approaches.
In your work as a Radar System Engineer, you work closely with experts and specialists from different areas of the company HENSOLDT. We work in diverse teams in a very good working atmosphere. The teams are characterized by a strong team spirit. Our responsibilities also include support in project management, the preparation of quotations and the presentation of our products to customers.
Your Tasks
Design of system concepts and creation of system documents (interface documents, verification and acceptance documents)
Requirements Engineering and Management
Cases of solution decisions taking into account aspects such as reusability, opportunities, risks, timing, quality, costs, safety and technical performance
Collaboration in system integration / system verification
Support of national and international measurement campaigns
Collaboration in multidisciplinary teams for the development of systems / products in close cooperation with specialist development, production, logistics and suppliers
Cooperation in the continuous improvement of the products by the use of the latest technologies e.g. AI and by creative and pragmatic approaches e.g. in hardware, software, algorithms
Your Profile
Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering or similar
First professional experience in this field
Experience in the development of radar systems is advantageous
Knowledge of the procedures and methods of system engineering
Knowledge of RF technology is advantageous
Knowledge in DOORS is advantageous
Strong teamwork and high social competence
Fluent German and English skills
