Salary: Starting at €28,000 per annum

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our client’s prestigious property in Co Mayo. As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling inquiries and bookings in a professional and courteous manner. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless reservation experience, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction at this luxurious property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
• Provide accurate information about room availability, rates, special packages, and property amenities to guests.
• Process reservations efficiently, ensuring all guest details are recorded accurately in the system.
• Handle special requests and ensure they are communicated effectively to the relevant departments.
• Confirm reservations and send out relevant booking information to guests.
• Collaborate with the front office, sales, and other departments to optimize occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar reservations or front office role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in reservation systems and hotel management software (experience with Opera or similar systems is a plus).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for customer service.
