Senior Business Developer & Key Account Manager (KAM) Automotive East-/Southeast Asia (m/w/x)
Your role
Strategic development of business in the automotive sector with products in the areas of lighting, sensor technology, displays, head-up-displays and HMI based on holographic / microoptical solutions with a regional focus on East-/Southeast Asia
Ongoing analysis of the automotive market environment and identification of business potential
Continuous screening of the market to acquire new customers (OEM, Tier 1 and Tier 2)
Business case creation based on market and customer data
Development of new business strategies
Business model development together with (potential) customers and evaluation of cooperation opportunities
Analysis of trends and identification and initial evaluation of competing products
Drafting/coordinating contracts, negotiations (cooperation, series and framework contracts) in collaboration with the legal/patent departments
Development, support and consulting of key customers in the automotive industry
Development of product roadmaps together with customers and partners
Preparation and execution of customer visits; support of exhibitions
Management of projects for strategic business development
Your profile
Several years of verified professional experience in business development and/or key account management in the automotive sector, ideally in East-/Southeast Asia
An educational background in the field of economics, engineering or natural sciences
Extensive experience in contract and price negotiations and project management
Confident appearance combined with an analytical and results-oriented independent way of working
A professional approach to customers and a high level of customer orientation
Social skills, in particular the ability to work in a team and a high level of resilience
Structured, goal-oriented and interdisciplinary way of working; persuasiveness, intercultural sensitivity, and integrity
Very good knowledge of English (business fluent) and willingness to travel abroad (especially East-/Southeast Asia)
Very confident with MS Office, ideally experience with Salesforce
