Senior Merchandiser

MIRA-Search is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Merchandiser to lead our merchandising efforts. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in retail merchandising and a deep understanding of consumer behavior. You will be tasked with developing and implementing creative merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales across various retail channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising plans in alignment with company objectives.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of effective product displays in retail stores.
• Analyze market trends, sales data, and consumer insights to inform merchandising strategies.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to design promotional campaigns.
• Train and mentor junior merchandising staff and store personnel on best practices.
• Manage relationships with retail partners and ensure adherence to merchandising guidelines.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product positioning.
• Report on key performance indicators and recommend adjustments to merchandising strategies as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Merchandiser especially with garments (clothing).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret consumer trends and sales data.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and merchandising software.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
• A BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
