Summary

For the Area "Tracking & Multi Sensor Data Fusion" we are looking for a "Senior System Engineer for Multi Sensor Data Fusion (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The Area "Tracking & Multi Sensor Data Fusion" develops tracking and data fusion software for radar and system solutions in the field of air, land and sea on the basis of a software module construction kit. The tasks of the department include the acquisition of new orders, system and software activities according to HENSOLDT specifications, test activities, support of research projects and support in software maintenance for already delivered radars. This department works across divisions and locations.

Your Tasks

• Development of concepts for multi sensor data fusion system software in the context of large-scale projects

• Elaboration of the architecture to be implemented and creation of the requirements for the subsystems and processing functions

• Planning of technology and product strategies for the area Tracking and Multi Sensor Data Fusion

• Market survey and assessment of trends and studies for Multi Sensor Data Fusion

• Development of business opportunities for new and existing markets

• Expansion of internal and external networks/partnerships

• Technical coordination with specialists and developers for realization of customer requirements up to qualification

• Assessment and analysis of technical market trends and progress, activities of main competitors and of worldwide customer requirements to support the definition of the product strategy

• Making solution decisions considering aspects such as reusability, opportunities, risks, time planning, quality, costs, security and technical performance

Your Profile

• Degree in engineering with a focus on mathematics, physics, computer science or comparable

• Longterm experience in the development of multi sensor data fusion software

• Longterm proven practical experience in systems engineering and systems integration for complex large-scale projects

• Longterm experience on preparing and holding technical presentations in front of large national and international customer audiences

• Knowledge of systems engineering procedures and methods

• Excellent presentation skills, networking skills and assertiveness

• Creative, pragmatic and independent action

• Analytical way of thinking and a high degree of commitment

• Ability to work in a team is required

• Business fluent German and very good English skills

• Willingness to travel internationally on business is required
