Summary
For the Area "Spectrum Dominance Application S/W Engineering" we are looking for a "Software Architect Python/C++ (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.The Area "Spectrum Dominance Application S/W Engineering" deals with the design and coding of software elements for electronic warfare systems using efficient and innovative technologies, processes and tools.
Your Tasks
Definition and further development of software architectures in C++ and Python
Design, implementation, testing and documentation of complex software modules and plugins in C++ and Python
Creation of test scripts in Python
Maintenance and further development of an existing test framework
Support of software and system integration
Qualification tests of the created product and project releases
Support of customer acceptance tests
Your Profile
Completed studies in the field of computer science, communications engineering or similar
Several years of programming experience with C/C++ as well as C#, Python and MATLAB
Practical experience of common middleware technologies (DDS, CORBA) as well as TCP/IP socket programming
Experience in creating and maintaining software architectures
Experience with agile development processes for example SCRUM, SAFe
Knowledge in administration and software development based on Linux
Very good communication skills, ability to work in a team and willingness to take responsibility
Very good German and English skills
