Summary
For the area "HENSOLDT Ventures" we are looking for a*n "Start- Up Scout & Analyst*in (f/m/d)" at the location Taufkirchen as soon as possible.HENSOLDT Ventures is an organizational unit that was founded with the goal of advancing innovations through new and future-oriented technologies and business models in the core business as well as in new markets that are of importance to HENSOLDT.
Your Tasks
Scouting and approaching promising start-ups and early-stage entrepreneurs in the fields of Defence & Aerospace, AI and Data Analytics, among others
Contact person for the HENSOLDT business units and HENSOLDT companies in the areas of start-up scouting, start-up merger & acquisition, start-up investment and start-up accelerator
Screening, interviewing and analysing start-ups in the pipeline, their business models and teams to find the best fit for HENSOLDT's programmes and requirements
Preparing market analyses and evaluating business cases and the market opportunity
In cross-departmental collaboration, support the execution of start-up M&A and start-up investment projects
Supporting the definition and elaboration of strategic fields of action in cooperation with the divisions
Continuous optimisation of the existing tool landscape as well as elaboration of ideas for building the pipeline
Researching and attending global start-up events and trade fairs in the relevant areas
Willingness to travel on business is a requirement.
Your Profile
Completed studies in economics, industrial engineering or a comparable degree
First experience in start-up scouting, e.g. through an internship or a working student position
Ideally, first professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in a fast-growing tech company or in start-up venturing
Creativity and the right flair for finding the latest technology trends and hottest startups
Understanding of common startup terminology
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills as well as team strength and flexibility
Routine handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Solution and result oriented thinking
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
