Strategic Marketing Manager (f/m/x)
Your Role
Defines the marketing strategy & activation for the respective product(s), (based on PLP) to achieve efficient/effective sales & profit growth.
Leads Product Launch Process for new launches, accountable to complete PLP process according to approved SOP.
Responsible for market and customer research, segmentation, insight, value proposition and messaging to ensure long-term growth above competition for assigned product(s).
Develops competitive messaging and sales tools for launch and sustaining activities for assigned product(s).
Interfaces with sales and customers as product expert, be able to demonstrate product and participate in customer-facing events.
Defines & coordinates implementation of marketing activation plan for all channels with relevant functions in alignment with the needs of local sales organizations and customers (Med. Affairs, Events, Learning Management, etc., and leads PLP/launch activities (with BM)
Cascading of globally aligned marketing strategy and activation into all global regions, oversight of development of regional/local marketing plans & activities.
Your Profile
Undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing, business, or life sciences. OD, MBA, or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ marketing experience; previous medical device/healthcare field experience required.
Proven track record of results in strategic marketing, sales activation, and marketing communication
Experience with Portfolio and solutions marketing preferred.
Has worked in multi-cultural and matrix/multi-sites working environments.
Scientific skills and/or clinical marketing experience is a plus.
Strong customer focus and curiosity about customer deep motivation
Ideally with experience in sales and customer-facing interactions
Strong time-management and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills
Additional language is a plus
