Support Manager

We currently have a vacancy for a Support Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

Installing and configuring database and application components of Model-driven engineering (MDE) based on information provided by the development teams concerned;
Maintaining the different components to have a reliable data exchange infrastructure, covering the monitoring of the usage and performance of the different information systems, troubleshooting of incidents and installation of patches to solve problems;
Analysis of specific programs (database reports, database import/export, etc.);
Assistance in evaluating applications delivered by other teams to ensure their compatibility;
Providing support to internal and external users;
Maintaining technical documentation and reporting and managing incidents.

Requirements

University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
At least 3 years of experience with the Atlassian product family;
At least 3 year of experience working with XML for structured information exchange;
At least 3 years of experience working with complex IT solutions and defect tracking tools;
At least 3 years of specific expertise in end user assistance or support of information systems;
At least 3 years of specific expertise in working with Web Service technologies;
At least 3 years of specific expertise in working with Windows/Linux operation systems;
More specifically very good knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo;
Very good knowledge of WebLogic;
Very good knowledge of database system Oracle RDBMS and database programming language PL/SQL;
Good knowledge of data representing languages such as XML / JSON;
Good knowledge of webservices for data / information exchange between applications based on SOAP / REST;
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operation systems;
Good knowledge of scripting languages like Shell, Python;
Familiarity with Java;
Excellent command of the English language.
