VIP Lounges Quality Controller

Malta International Airport plc is looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about working with people within an Airport environment, and are willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. This vacancy has arisen within the Customer Services Department on a full-time basis.

Purpose of position:

This role is responsible for overseeing the operational delivery which impacts the guest experience at any of the airport VIP lounges. The key responsibilities include assuring that all stakeholders perform to consistently deliver a guest experience of excellent quality.

Requirements

  • Monitor and report VIP lounge supplier performance; track and address SLA (Service level agreemets) shortcomings.
  • Define and optimize food/beverage requirements in line with forecasts and cost targets.
  • Propose menu changes for variety, considering special dietary needs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and kitchen for lounge equipment, food, presentation, and storage.
  • Set and maintain kitchen standards consistently.
  • Keep lounge operation procedures updated, including visual guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a HACCP ( Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) program per regulations.
  • Suggest lounge policy/procedure improvements.
  • Audit lounges to ensure high guest experience standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain standards.
  • Maintain and reconcile supplier invoices and delivery notes.
  • Compile lounge usage and food & beverage reports.
  • To assist the Manager Customer Services Department on the day-to-day operations of the Department, should the need arise.
  • Provide training or briefing sessions related to any aspect of the VIP lounges operation.
  • Analyse guest feedback and suggest feasible improvements to further enhance the guest experience in relation to lounge use and VIP services.
  • To perform any other duties or related tasks as may be required by the Company from time to time.
