Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality of wheat for breakfast products? Do you want to play a key role in our Products? Well if you do, Weetabix is seeking a dedicated Wheat Testing Technician to join our team.

As a Wheat Testing Technician, you play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and purity of the wheat used in our cereals. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to our goal of providing the best breakfast experience for our consumers. As a Wheat Testing Technician, you will be an integral part of our success.

You will

• Operate in full compliance with Weetabix health and safety policy at all times, ensuring testing equipment is maintained/inspected (where applicable) and operated in the most efficient way
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed at all times
• Ensure the completion of all audits of systems and procedures, hygiene and quality
• Make sure that every delivery consistently aligns with the raw wheat specifications.
• Check the provenance of growers by Red Tractor checkers' site clearance
• Achieve set goals and meet established criteria
• Gather and analyse data to track supplier performance effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications are not always the 'be-all and end-all' and we really value your wealth of experience, however for some roles that are governed by legislation we will ask for specific qualifications and achievements. We will ask for evidence of these during the process.

Must have:

Non negotiables;

• Able to work for periods unsupervised.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good communication skills - collaborates with other teams and external parties.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and AX.  

Preferred

• Understanding of wheat ordering and testing
