AEM Solution Architect (f/m/x)

Your Role

At ZEISS, our Digital Enablement team is dedicated to helping our colleagues, dependent teams and business units in producing remarkable user experiences! Using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS, we build modern user journeys in both public areas (websites) and gated areas (login areas such as dashboards or portals). We are looking for an experienced AEM Solution Architect who can straddle both business requirements and technology implementations to deliver Marketing Technology solutions that drive digital growth. Working with multiple cross-functional teams of product owners, UX/UI designers, analytic experts, and engineers you:

• Are responsible and accountable for the solution design in the AEM cosmos – providing the technology solution architecture and guiding other teams towards success

• Design, drive, and PoC our digital customer interaction touchpoints – based on business requirements, and in line with technology roadmaps and architectural target pictures (shaped by yourself)

• Support and guide the development team through your hands-on web programming skills, CMS knowledge, and by providing guidelines

• Iterate, apply, and spread engineering guidelines to enable relevant reliable and resilient solution architectures

• Exchange with architects from different segments, acting as main representative for the AEM solution architecture, ensuring alignment on target picture in the architecture community

Your Profile

• Effective communication skills to easily navigate in corporate business as well as “geeky/nerdy” environments

• Experience in translating business challenges into technical solutions, guiding the business representatives with your questions to derive the insights you require

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position in which you developed and architected headful or headless AEM systems

• Strong hands-on coding skills, especially in web projects, preferably in one of the following: Java or TypeScript

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and cloud infrastructure and operational topics related to AEM

• Fluent in English, German a plus
