An exciting opportunity has arisen due to one of our team expecting her family and we are looking for a special someone to come and join our team. We can consider part time, full time and job share possibilities.

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is excited to invite applications for the position of Early Years Practitioner. Our nursery is dedicated to providing a rich and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5, and we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning and development through a range of stimulating activities and experiences.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of passionate professionals to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere where children can explore and learn. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children's progress, and fostering meaningful relationships with both children and their families. We value a holistic approach to child development, focusing not only on educational outcomes but also on emotional well-being and social skills.

Our nursery operates Monday to Friday, and we provide flexible working hours to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance. Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is preferred, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates who are new to the field
  • Basic first aid and safeguarding training (can be provided)
