Job Description:
We are looking for you as an Industrial Automation & IT Project Manager (d/f/m) to focus on digital technology, at the forefront of research and innovation. You will join a team of 20 people in the Industrial Automation & Robotics department in charge of shop floor applications.
This position consists of supporting or managing European projects in the field of production IT related to Industry 4.0 such as connectivity of production resources, OEE tool, machine performance, process control, predictive maintenance, edge computing, alert management, cybersecurity of resources etc
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You will ensure connectivity for all Airbus Commercial German plants (connection dossier, technical deep dive, etc) following cybersecurity rules
You will lead and support the transversal solutions like OEE, DNC, PC SPC, MOS, remote maintenance, etc.
You will be responsible for an Airbus specific application supporting the Corner Fitting Process for FAL (Messsystem, CATIA, ALV, Vericut, ...)
You guide and support the selection of the appropriate technologies and/ or methodologies
You monitor technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge
You will prove the value of new technologies to establish business cases
Desired skills and qualifications
You hold a degree in engineering or a similar field or bring a comparable qualification combined with several years of work experience in automation and production
You bring knowledge on mess-system (AICON), “Ablaufverwaltung”, CATIA, Vericut, SFTP from TECTIA (a prerequisite for the Airbus specific application)
You have knowledge of SCADA and mainly Aveva and/or WinCC
Ideally, you bring knowledge in Internet of Things (IoT) and their software or hardware architecture (PLC, NC, communication protocols)
You have a collaborative mindset and love to work in a diverse environment
You are a pragmatic person with a high motivation to learn and develop
You are fluent in English and German
