Stock Management Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Management Executive to oversee and manage the stock inventory of our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of stock control processes, proficient computer skills, and the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:
Oversee daily stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory to meet business demands. Monitor stock replenishment, forecasting, and demand planning.
Stock Control:
Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring that discrepancies are identified and corrected promptly. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
Order Processing:
Handle incoming stock and manage outgoing shipments. Ensure the correct stock is allocated for orders and assist with the packaging and shipping process.
Supplier Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, and resolve any issues related to stock shortages or overages.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and train the stock management team, assigning tasks and ensuring team members are following best practices. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
System Management:
Manage and maintain the stock management software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory information. Generate reports on stock movements, trends, and discrepancies.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to increase stock accuracy and reduce waste or loss. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background:
A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in inventory or stock management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Computer Proficiency:
Strong computer skills with experience in inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting tools.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, with excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate stock levels.
Leadership Skills:
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address stock-related issues.
