Summary

For the "Optronical Sensors & Lasers" division, we are looking for a "Work Preparer (f/m/d)" at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.

The "Optronical Sensors & Lasers" division produces thermal imaging and high-performance cameras as well as laser rangefinders for use in stationary and mobile applications. The sensors are used in the maritime sector as well as in land vehicles and also in flying applications.

These systems are used for reconnaissance and protection of borders, objects and people. The position is in the area of laser rangefinders for air, land and maritime systems.

Your Tasks

• Planning and collaboration in the development and implementation of work processes/sequences in production

• Creation and management of manufacturing documents, routings and parts lists for series devices and repairs as well as documentation in SAP

• Support in the development and testing of prototypes as well as the launch of projects/products into production in close exchange with engineering, construction, quality and project management

• Planning of production equipment with focus on optics and mechanics

• Participation in the determination of required manufacturing capacities, taking into account manufacturing and economic findings, and making suggestions for the design of components in line with manufacturing requirements

• Carrying out target/actual comparisons, calculating manufacturing costs and determining in-house/external manufacturing alternatives

• Participate in the definition, development, testing, qualification, release and introduction of new technologies, processes and methods in production

• Participate in the continuous improvement process of production plans/procedures 

• Support in case of technical problems in production (root cause analysis, problem solving)

• Collaboration in the planning of a new production area

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, optoelectronics or a technical vocational training with a further qualification as a technician* in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering or comparable.

• Sound experience in the field of assembly, commissioning and automation of opto-electronic devices and systems

• Practical knowledge in the field of optics is advantageous

• Good knowledge of SAP, MS Office and CAD

• Methodological knowledge in lean production and Six Sigma (value stream mapping and value stream design)

• Independent and quality-conscious way of working

• Flexibility and ability to work in a team

• Good German and English skills
